Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Manager to ensure that our international trade activities comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. This role involves overseeing the company’s trade compliance program, conducting audits, and providing guidance on import and export regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of international trade laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively manage compliance across a global operation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s trade compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with import/export laws and regulations across all markets in which the company operates.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify risks and non-compliance issues.
- Provide training and support to company personnel on trade compliance matters.
- Manage all licensing requirements for the import and export of goods.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and bodies related to trade compliance.
- Advise on trade compliance aspects of new market entry and expansion projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade compliance, customs, or a similar role.
- Comprehensive understanding of global trade compliance regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with all levels of management and government officials.
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $9,000, based on the candidate’s experience and expertise in trade compliance.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $108,000, with the potential for performance-based bonuses. The compensation package also includes comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, and generous vacation time.
