Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is looking for a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage our global supply chain operations. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services, optimizing supply chain processes, and contributing to the overall success of our international trade activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and improve supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with various departments to forecast demand and ensure supply chain alignment with business goals.
- Implement and monitor supply chain metrics and KPIs to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
- Oversee the logistics of global shipping and customs compliance.
- Manage supply chain risks and implement contingency plans.
- Stay abreast of latest supply chain trends and technologies for potential implementation.
- Lead, train, and develop the supply chain team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $9,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $108,000, with potential for performance-related bonuses and progression.
