Position Overview

Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a Strategic Market Researcher, an essential role focused on conducting in-depth market research to support strategic decision-making for countertrade operations. This position requires a candidate with expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, an understanding of international market trends, and the ability to provide actionable insights. The Strategic Market Researcher will collaborate closely with the Market Expansion Strategist and Business Analysis Director to uncover trends, gauge market potential, and identify risks and opportunities within the countertrade landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and execute comprehensive market research studies, utilizing both primary and secondary research methods to gather relevant data on international markets, industry trends, and consumer behavior.
  2. Analyze research findings to identify patterns, opportunities, and challenges that could impact countertrade deals and strategies.
  3.  Collaborate with the Competitive Intelligence Analyst and Industry Trends Analyst to integrate market research insights with competitive and industry trend analyses.
  4. Develop detailed reports and presentations that clearly communicate research findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
  5. Stay abreast of research methodologies and market research tools, ensuring the highest quality and relevance of market insights provided to the company.
Qualifications 
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or a professional certification in market research is highly desirable.
  2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in market research or a related field, with a significant focus on international markets and strategic research projects.
  3.  Proficiency in research methodologies, statistical analysis, and the use of market research software.
  4. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  5. Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Compensation

Monthly Salary: $7,500, translating to an annual salary of $90,000.
