Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a strategic and experienced Sourcing Manager to lead our sourcing operations. This critical role involves developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts to achieve the best value for the company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to meet the company’s procurement needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure the company secures the best value in terms of price, quality, and service.
- Manage the entire supplier selection process, including conducting market research, vetting potential suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and specifications.
- Monitor and assess supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the sourcing function.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments that could impact sourcing strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic thinking.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification in procurement/supply chain is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of the supplier market and industry trends.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $8,000, based on experience and the strategic importance of the role.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $96,000, with the potential for performance-based bonuses. Comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, dental and vision plans, a retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.
