Countertrade Pte Ltd is in search of a Shipping Coordinator to manage and streamline our shipping and logistics operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to our customers worldwide. The Shipping Coordinator will handle the coordination of both inbound and outbound shipments, negotiate with carriers, and ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and documentation requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in logistics management, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipping operations, ensuring timely delivery.
- Liaise with carriers and logistics providers to negotiate rates and schedules.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork, to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers.
- Resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process, such as delays or damaged goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure the proper handling and storage of goods.
- Analyze and optimize shipping processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $6,500, reflecting the responsibilities and expertise required for the role.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $78,000, with the potential for performance-related bonuses.
