Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a Secure Payment Protocol Designer, a specialized role focused on developing and implementing secure, efficient, and innovative payment protocols for our countertrade network. This position requires an individual with a strong technical background in payment systems, cybersecurity, and the application of blockchain and other advanced technologies to secure financial transactions. Collaborating closely with the Payment Solutions Architect, Transaction Security Specialist, and Financial Transaction Coordinator, the Secure Payment Protocol Designer will design payment protocols that enhance transaction security, reduce fraud risk, and comply with international financial regulations.
- Design and develop secure payment protocols, incorporating the latest technologies and security measures to safeguard financial transactions across the countertrade network.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of existing payment protocols, identifying vulnerabilities and designing enhancements to improve security and efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to implement blockchain, encryption, and other advanced technologies to secure payment channels and data.
- Stay abreast of developments in payment security, financial regulations, and technology trends, applying innovative solutions to continuously improve payment protocols.
- Provide expertise and guidance on secure payment practices to internal teams, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of security awareness and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced qualifications or certifications in payment security, blockchain technology, or financial cryptography are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in payment systems design, cybersecurity, or a similar role, with a strong focus on developing secure payment protocols and solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of payment security standards, cybersecurity best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements in financial operations.
- Proficiency in blockchain technology, encryption methods, and the latest innovations in secure payment systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security challenges in payment operations.
Monthly Salary: $9,500, translating to an annual salary of $114,000.
