Working in close collaboration with the Legal Framework Advisor, Trade Agreement Consultant, and Financial Structuring Analyst, the Regulatory Compliance Advisor will play a pivotal role in safeguarding Countertrade Pte Ltd against regulatory risks and ensuring smooth, compliant operations.
- Advise on regulatory compliance across all stages of countertrade deal development and execution, ensuring alignment with international laws and standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of countertrade proposals and agreements to identify and address potential compliance issues before they arise.
- Collaborate with legal and financial teams to develop and implement compliance strategies that optimize operational efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of changes in international trade regulations, analyzing their implications for Countertrade Pte Ltd’s countertrade operations and advising on necessary adjustments to practices and strategies.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for Countertrade Pte Ltd staff, enhancing organizational awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field, with a preference for advanced legal or compliance certification.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the international trade sector, demonstrating a strong understanding of global trade regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments, with a track record of developing effective compliance solutions.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with multiple teams and effectively advising on compliance matters.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating regulatory risks.
Monthly Salary: $9,500, translating to an annual salary of $114,000.
