Position Overview

Countertrade Pte Ltd seeks a Proposal Value Optimizer, a dedicated role focused on maximizing the value proposition of countertrade deal proposals for both Countertrade Pte Ltd and its potential partners. This position requires a unique blend of analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of value creation in international trade deals. Working closely with the Deal Proposal Engineer, Financial Structuring Analyst, and Negotiation Tactics Advisor, the Proposal Value Optimizer will refine proposals to ensure they clearly articulate the benefits and value enhancements offered through countertrade agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze and refine countertrade deal proposals to enhance their value proposition, ensuring clear communication of benefits and strategic advantages to potential partners.
  2. Collaborate with financial analysts to incorporate robust financial models and value-sharing mechanisms that make proposals more attractive and equitable.
  3. Work with the legal and compliance teams to ensure that value propositions are not only compelling but also compliant with international trade regulations.
  4. Conduct market and partner research to tailor value propositions to the specific needs and strategic goals of potential partners, enhancing the likelihood of proposal acceptance.
  5.  Develop metrics and criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of value propositions in deal proposals, using feedback to continuously improve future proposals.
Qualifications 
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, financial analysis, or strategic marketing, with a significant focus on creating and optimizing value propositions.
  3. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information and market data to identify and articulate value creation opportunities.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with multidisciplinary teams to refine and enhance deal proposals.
  5. Creative and strategic mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and proposal optimization.
Compensation

Monthly Salary: $8,000, translating to an annual salary of $96,000.

This package is designed to attract a Proposal Value Optimizer who will be instrumental in developing compelling value propositions for our countertrade deals, driving mutual benefits and deal success.
