Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations. This role is vital for managing the company’s procurement activities, optimizing purchasing processes, and ensuring the best value for the company through strategic sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies.
- Oversee and manage the entire procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase execution.
- Identify and assess potential suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
- Coordinate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement activities.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and improve procurement efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company standards in procurement processes.
- Lead, manage, and develop the procurement team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract law.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $8,500, based on experience and qualifications.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $102,000, with potential for performance-based bonuses and advancement.
