Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our warehouse team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by assisting with the receiving, storing, and distributing of goods. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have a keen attention to detail, and possess the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
- Receive and check incoming shipments for discrepancies or damages and report findings.
- Organize and store items in appropriate areas within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in inventory counts.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with cleaning and organizing the warehouse to maintain a tidy workspace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $3,500, reflecting the physical and operational demands of the role.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $42,000, with potential for overtime pay and performance-related bonuses. Comprehensive benefits include health insurance, dental and vision plans, a retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
