Countertrade Pte Ltd is looking for a Legal Framework Advisor, a vital role designed to provide expert legal guidance on the structuring of countertrade deals to ensure compliance with international laws and regulations. This position demands an individual with a deep understanding of international trade law, contract law, and the legal intricacies of countertrade operations. Working in collaboration with the Deal Structuring Advisor, Financial Structuring Analyst, and Proposal Optimization Specialist, the Legal Framework Advisor will ensure that all countertrade proposals are legally sound and optimized for regulatory compliance.
- Provide legal advice on the structuring of countertrade deals, ensuring they comply with international trade laws, sanctions, and regulatory requirements.
- – Collaborate with deal teams to develop legal frameworks that support innovative and compliant countertrade arrangements.
- Conduct legal risk assessments for proposed countertrade deals, identifying potential legal issues and advising on mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on changes in international trade laws and regulations, informing the team of relevant updates that could impact countertrade operations.
- Draft and review legal documentation related to countertrade deals, including contracts, agreements, and compliance policies, ensuring legal integrity and protection for Countertrade Pte Ltd.
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification, with a specialization in international trade law or contract law.
- Minimum of 7 years of legal experience, with a significant focus on international trade, contract drafting and negotiation, and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, sanctions regimes, and cross-border transaction laws.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear, actionable legal advice under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and explaining complex legal concepts in an accessible manner.
Monthly Salary: $10,000, translating to an annual salary of $120,000.
