Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced International Trade Lawyer to provide legal expertise in international trade law, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations and representing the company in legal matters related to international trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on international trade regulations, agreements, and compliance.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings involving international trade issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate international trade contracts and agreements.
- Stay updated on changes in international trade laws and advise the company accordingly.
- Assist in resolving trade disputes and provide guidance on dispute resolution strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance in all trade activities.
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures related to international trade law.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
- Train and educate staff on legal aspects of international trade.
Qualifications and Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent law degree.
- Licensed to practice law with a specialization in international trade law.
- Minimum of 7 years of legal experience in international trade law.
- Strong understanding of WTO regulations, trade agreements, and compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $10,000, based on experience and qualifications.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $120,000, with opportunities for performance-related bonuses and career advancement.
