Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking an International Relations Advisor to provide expertise on global trade policies, international relations, and geopolitical trends that may impact our international trade operations. This strategic role involves advising senior management on international market entry, trade compliance, and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders in global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze global geopolitical trends, trade policies, and economic conditions to assess potential impacts on the company’s international operations.
- Advise on strategies for navigating international trade regulations and policies.
- Facilitate relationships with international trade bodies, government entities, and key partners in target markets.
- Provide insights and recommendations for market entry and expansion strategies.
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with international trade laws and agreements.
- Coordinate with the marketing and sales teams to align international strategies with local market conditions.
- Prepare and present reports on international trends, opportunities, and risks to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international relations, diplomacy, or a related role, preferably in a business context.
- Strong understanding of global trade regulations and geopolitical issues.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $8,000, reflective of the candidate’s expertise and the strategic nature of the role.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $96,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision plans, a retirement savings plan, and generous vacation time.
