The Industry Matchmaker will play a crucial role in expanding our network of countertrade partners, ensuring the successful pairing of companies for countertrade opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the needs, capabilities, and market positions of businesses within the countertrade network.
- Identify and assess potential matches between businesses, utilizing insights from the Countertrade Market Scout and Opportunity Data Miner to inform decisions.
- Facilitate introductions and initial discussions between potential countertrade partners, setting the stage for successful deal negotiations.
- Work closely with the Countertrade Deal Designer to ensure proposed deals are aligned with the needs and strategic goals of matched businesses.
- Monitor the success of matched partnerships, gathering feedback and making adjustments to matchmaking strategies as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, networking, or a similar role, with a proven track record of building successful B2B relationships.
- Strong understanding of various industries and the ability to identify synergies between businesses.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for negotiation and persuasion.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on creating win-win situations.
- Monthly Salary: $6,500, translating to an annual salary of $78,000.
