Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a Government Relations Specialist to manage and enhance our interactions with government entities and regulatory bodies. This role is key in navigating the political landscape, ensuring compliance with governmental policies, and advocating for the company’s interests in international trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for engaging with government officials and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that could impact international trade and the company’s operations.
- Represent the company in meetings and discussions with government bodies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice on government policies and regulations to internal teams.
- Advocate for policies and regulations that benefit the company’s international trade activities.
- Prepare and submit required reports and documents to government agencies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations or public affairs, preferably in an international context.
- Strong understanding of governmental processes and international trade regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Ability to interpret and advise on policy and regulatory matters.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $8,000, based on experience and qualifications.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $96,000, with potential for performance-related bonuses and growth opportunities.
