In this key role, you will gather intelligence through interviews, observation and other methods to deeply understand the buyer mindset. Leveraging empathy mapping techniques, you will translate your discoveries into compelling visual frameworks spotlighting what target clients think, feel, see, hear, say and do in relation to our offerings.
As our Empathy Mapper, your buyer insights will be invaluable for informing messaging, experiences and engagement strategies aimed at resonating more deeply with the client perspective throughout their journey.
- Design and implement research plans focused on excavating buyer insights.
- Gather intelligence uncovering thoughts, emotions, behaviors and needs.
- Analyze findings using empathy mapping methods to categorize key insights
- Create highly visual frameworks mapping the buyer experience ecosystem.
- Continually seek new inputs to extend and refine empathy maps.
- Educate internal teams on buyer attitudes and expectations revealed.
- Advise teams on engaging target clients based on empathy mapping discoveries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design or related field.
- 2+ years using empathy mapping to uncover consumer insights.
- Passionate about stepping into the user experience ecosystem.
- Strong consulting, writing and visualization talents.
- Excellent analytical and interpretive abilities.
- Monthly Salary: $9,500, translating to an annual salary of $114,000.
