Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a Countertrade Transaction Auditor, a vital role responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance in the recording and processing of transactions within the countertrade network. This position demands an individual with a strong background in auditing, keen attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of both financial accounting principles and international trade regulations. The Countertrade Transaction Auditor will work closely with the Financial Gatekeeper, Compliance Consultant, and IT Infrastructure Developer to audit financial transactions, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to maintain the integrity of countertrade operations.
- Conduct regular audits of financial transactions related to countertrade deals, ensuring they are accurately recorded and processed in accordance with agreed terms and accounting standards.
- Identify discrepancies or anomalies in transaction records, investigating and resolving any issues in collaboration with financial and operational teams.
- Work with the Compliance Consultant to ensure all financial transactions comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, minimizing risk and ensuring integrity.
- Develop and implement auditing procedures and controls tailored to the specific needs and complexities of countertrade operations.
- Provide audit findings and recommendations to senior management, contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with a preference for professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably with experience in international trade finance or complex financial transactions.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, auditing standards, and international finance regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and anomalies in financial data.
- Effective communication skills, capable of collaborating with teams across the organization and presenting findings to management.
- Monthly Salary: $8,500, translating to an annual salary of $102,000.
