Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic Countertrade Specialist. This role is central to managing and executing various countertrade agreements, facilitating international trade, and playing a key role in strategic business growth and enhancement of trade relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement countertrade strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Negotiate and structure complex countertrade agreements including barter, offset, switch trading, and buyback.
- Collaborate with international partners to establish and manage countertrade deals.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
- Provide consultancy and advice on countertrade mechanisms to optimize business operations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and trade partners.
- Analyze market trends to identify new countertrade opportunities.
- Assess risks in countertrade transactions and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports on countertrade agreements and their outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, International Trade, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in countertrade or international trade.
- Strong understanding of various countertrade mechanisms.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects in a multicultural environment.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications, starting at $8,500.
- Annual Salary: Starting at $102,000, with potential for performance-based bonuses and increases.
