Countertrade Pte Ltd is on the lookout for a Countertrade Sourcing Manager, a key role dedicated to optimizing our sourcing strategies and supplier relationships to support our countertrade and international trade operations. This role demands an individual with extensive experience in sourcing, a strategic mindset, and an in-depth understanding of global supply chains and countertrade mechanisms. The Countertrade Sourcing Manager will be responsible for identifying and engaging with suppliers worldwide, negotiating terms, and ensuring the quality and cost-effectiveness of procured goods and services.
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies that align with countertrade agreements and operational requirements, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess market trends and risks.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to ensure sourcing strategies support company objectives and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Manage supplier relationships, conducting regular performance evaluations and fostering long-term partnerships to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of developments in international trade, countertrade practices, and supply chain management to continuously refine sourcing strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field, with a Master’s degree or professional certification in supply chain management preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in sourcing or supply chain management, with significant exposure to international trade and countertrade operations.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies.
- Knowledge of global market dynamics, international trade regulations, and countertrade mechanisms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and tools.
- Monthly Salary: $7,500, amounting to an annual salary of $90,000.
