Countertrade Pte Ltd seeks a Countertrade Risk Assessor, a key role dedicated to identifying, evaluating, and mitigating potential risks associated with countertrade agreements and operations. This position demands an individual with a deep understanding of risk management principles, international trade, and countertrade mechanisms. The Countertrade Risk Assessor will work closely with the Countertrade Agreement Architect, Compliance Consultant, and other stakeholders to ensure that all countertrade deals are structured to minimize risk while maximizing the potential for success.
- Conduct risk assessments for proposed countertrade deals, identifying potential financial, legal, operational, and market risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, working in collaboration with deal designers, legal consultants, and operations teams.
- Monitor and analyze global market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical events that could impact countertrade operations and agreements.
- Provide risk management advice and support to deal teams, helping to navigate uncertainties and make informed decisions.
- Prepare and present risk assessment reports to senior management, highlighting potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, International Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in risk management (e.g., FRM) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk assessment and management, preferably within international trade, finance, or a related industry.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex trade agreements and operations for potential risks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate risk-related concepts and strategies to a non-specialist audience.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Monthly Salary: $8,000, translating to an annual salary of $96,000.
