Position Overview

Countertrade Pte Ltd is searching for a Countertrade Relationship Manager to enhance our client relationships and partnership management efforts. This role is essential for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills and a thorough understanding of international trade and countertrade practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and deepening relationships with our existing clients and partners, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty, and identifying opportunities to expand our services and solutions to meet their evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients and partners, maintaining and strengthening relationships through regular communication and high-quality service.
  2. Understand and anticipate clients’ and partners’ needs, working collaboratively with them to develop customized countertrade solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
  3. Monitor and manage the performance of countertrade agreements and projects, ensuring that deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
  4. Provide clients and partners with updates on market trends, new countertrade opportunities, and regulatory changes that may impact their business.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including business development, operations, and finance, to ensure a cohesive approach to client and partner management.
  6. Facilitate conflict resolution and negotiate solutions to challenges arising during the execution of countertrade agreements.
Qualifications 
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field, with a Master’s degree preferred.
  2. At least 4 years of experience in relationship management or client services, ideally within the international trade or countertrade sector.
  3. Strong understanding of countertrade mechanisms and international trade regulations.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client and partner relationships.
  6. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
Compensation
  • Monthly Salary: $8,500, translating to an annual salary of $102,000.
