Countertrade Pte Ltd is looking for a Countertrade Public Policy Analyst, a critical role focused on analyzing and interpreting public policy developments that impact international trade and countertrade activities. This position requires an individual with a deep understanding of public policy, international relations, and trade regulations. The Countertrade Public Policy Analyst will provide insights and recommendations to guide the company’s strategy and compliance efforts in response to evolving regulatory and policy landscapes.
- Monitor and analyze developments in public policy, trade regulations, and international agreements that affect countertrade operations.
- Conduct in-depth research to assess the impact of policy changes on the company’s countertrade activities and identify strategic opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and business development, to communicate policy developments and advise on strategic responses.
- Develop policy briefs, reports, and presentations that summarize research findings and policy analysis for internal stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including industry associations, policy makers, and trade organizations, to gather insights and influence policy developments beneficial to countertrade activities.
- Support advocacy and lobbying efforts by providing expert analysis and contributing to position papers and submissions to regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Economics, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in public policy analysis, with a focus on trade policy and international relations.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, countertrade practices, and the global regulatory environment.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across functional teams and engage effectively with external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and research methodologies.
- Monthly Salary: $6,500, translating to an annual salary of $78,000.
