Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a Countertrade Portfolio Manager to oversee and optimize our portfolio of countertrade agreements and projects. This strategic role requires an individual with a deep understanding of international trade mechanisms, financial acumen, and project management expertise. The Countertrade Portfolio Manager will be responsible for ensuring the profitability and strategic alignment of our countertrade initiatives, assessing risks, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies for managing and optimizing the company’s portfolio of countertrade agreements and projects.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and performance analyses to ensure that portfolio activities meet strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, operations, and business development, to align portfolio management strategies with broader company goals.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for new countertrade agreements, expansions, or adjustments to existing projects to enhance portfolio value.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on portfolio performance, risk profiles, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of portfolio adjustments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and contractual obligations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field, with a Master’s degree or professional certifications in finance or project management preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in portfolio management, finance, or a related field, with specific expertise in international trade or countertrade operations.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to assess complex trade agreements and projects.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, countertrade practices, and risk management principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Monthly Salary: $9,000, amounting to an annual salary of $108,000.
