Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a Countertrade Internal Auditor, a key role tasked with ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of our countertrade operations and financial practices. This position requires a professional with a strong background in auditing, a keen understanding of international trade laws, and an ability to navigate the complexities of countertrade transactions. The Countertrade Internal Auditor will conduct audits, assess risk management strategies, and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Plan and execute internal audits of countertrade transactions, operations, and related financial practices to ensure compliance with internal policies and international trade regulations.
- Identify risks and inefficiencies in countertrade operations and recommend improvements to processes, controls, and policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand operational dynamics and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations, providing guidance and support to ensure effective resolution of audit findings.
- Stay informed of changes in international trade laws, countertrade practices, and auditing standards to continuously enhance the audit program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in internal auditing, with specific experience in international trade or countertrade operations highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and internal control principles.
- Familiarity with international trade laws and countertrade mechanisms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and financial analysis tools.
- Monthly Salary: $7,000, amounting to an annual salary of $84,000.
