Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a Countertrade Government Relations Coordinator, a pivotal role designed to manage and enhance our relationships with government entities and regulatory bodies that impact our international trade and countertrade operations. This role requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of government processes, and the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of the company. The Countertrade Government Relations Coordinator will work to ensure that our business interests are represented and protected in policy discussions and regulatory decisions.
- Develop and implement strategies for engaging with government officials, regulators, and policy makers to advocate for favorable trade policies and regulations.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that could impact countertrade operations, providing timely analysis and strategic advice to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate the company’s response to government inquiries, consultations, and policy discussions, ensuring that our position is effectively communicated and supported by relevant data and analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, trade associations, and other key stakeholders to support the company’s strategic objectives and compliance efforts.
- Organize and participate in meetings, hearings, and other events where trade policies and regulations are discussed, representing the company’s interests and providing expert input.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and public policy, to align government relations strategies with broader company goals and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in government relations, advocacy, or a related field, with a focus on trade policy and international relations preferred.
- Strong understanding of government processes, trade regulations, and the political landscape affecting international trade.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with government officials and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyze policy developments and advise on strategic responses.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Monthly Salary: $6,000, translating to an annual salary of $72,000.
