Countertrade Pte Ltd is on the lookout for a Countertrade Financial Gatekeeper, a crucial role designed to oversee the financial flow through the tollgate position, managing commissions and payments within the countertrade network. This position requires an individual with a strong background in financial management, experience in handling complex financial transactions, and an understanding of international trade finance. The Countertrade Financial Gatekeeper will work closely with the Multilateral Countertrade Coordinator, Compliance Consultant, and IT Infrastructure Developer to ensure accurate, timely, and secure financial transactions.
- Oversee and manage the financial transactions associated with countertrade deals, including the receipt, allocation, and disbursement of funds according to the agreed terms.
- Implement and maintain secure financial processes and systems to manage the flow of money through the tollgate position, ensuring compliance with international finance regulations.
- Coordinate with financial institutions and partners to facilitate smooth financial operations, resolving any issues related to payments or fund transfers.
- Monitor financial flows and transactions, providing regular financial reports to senior management on the status of commissions, payments, and any discrepancies or anomalies.
- Work with the Compliance Consultant to ensure all financial transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements, minimizing financial risk for the company and its partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in finance or accounting is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably with experience in international trade finance or handling complex financial transactions.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, international finance regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage large volumes of financial data and transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with internal teams, financial institutions, and international partners.
- Monthly Salary: $9,000, translating to an annual salary of $108,000.
