Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a Countertrade Deal Designer, a critical role dedicated to crafting tailored countertrade proposals that outline benefits and commission structures for potential business partners. This role requires a creative thinker with a deep understanding of trade dynamics, negotiation strategies, and the ability to design win-win deals. The Countertrade Deal Designer will work closely with the Strategic Countertrade Opportunity Planner, Industry Matchmaker, and Deal Engagement Specialist to ensure that each proposal maximizes mutual benefits and aligns with strategic objectives.
- Develop innovative countertrade deal structures that are beneficial for all parties, taking into account the needs and capabilities of potential business partners.
- Collaborate with the Industry Matchmaker to understand the needs of potential partners and tailor proposals to meet those needs effectively.
- Negotiate preliminary terms with potential partners, laying the groundwork for formal negotiations and deal finalization.
- Prepare detailed proposal documents that clearly communicate the value proposition, terms, and benefits of the countertrade deals.
- Work with the Countertrade Compliance Consultant to ensure all deal proposals adhere to international trade laws and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in deal design, business development, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on trade or countertrade operations.
- Proven ability to create complex deal structures and negotiate effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess deals from both a financial and strategic perspective.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Monthly Salary: $7,500, translating to an annual salary of $90,000.
