Countertrade Pte Ltd is actively seeking a Countertrade Contract Manager, a crucial role focused on managing and overseeing the contractual aspects of our countertrade agreements. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in contract law, negotiation, and a deep understanding of international trade and countertrade mechanisms. The Countertrade Contract Manager will ensure that all contracts are compliant with legal and regulatory standards, protect company interests, and facilitate successful countertrade transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to countertrade transactions, ensuring they meet company standards and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the legal, finance, and operations teams, to align contract terms with company strategies and operational capabilities.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including execution, amendments, renewals, and terminations, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on contractual issues, risk management, and dispute resolution related to countertrade agreements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive contract management system to track and report on the status of all countertrade agreements.
- Conduct regular training sessions for internal teams on contract management best practices and updates in trade regulations affecting countertrade activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field, with a specialization in contract law or international trade preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in contract management or legal roles, with specific experience in international trade or countertrade operations.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, contract law, and countertrade mechanisms.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and work collaboratively across functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating contractual risks.
- Monthly Salary: $7,500, translating to an annual salary of $90,000.
