Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Countertrade Consultant. This role involves providing expert advice and consultancy services in various countertrade mechanisms to our clients globally. The consultant will be instrumental in aiding clients to navigate and maximize benefits from complex trade agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their trade needs and objectives.
- Develop customized countertrade solutions and strategies for clients.
- Offer expertise on a range of countertrade mechanisms such as offsets, barter, and buyback agreements.
- Facilitate negotiations and structuring of countertrade deals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in international trade.
- Provide training and workshops on countertrade practices.
- Ensure clients’ countertrade activities comply with international regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and international partners.
- Produce reports and presentations to demonstrate countertrade opportunities and successes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in countertrade or a similar advisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade laws and various countertrade mechanisms.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of developing successful trade solutions.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting from $9,500, based on experience and qualifications.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $114,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and progression.
