Countertrade Pte Ltd is looking for a Countertrade Agreement Architect, a pivotal role responsible for structuring and finalizing the terms of countertrade agreements. This position requires an individual with a strong legal background, expertise in international trade agreements, and the ability to craft deals that are beneficial and compliant for all parties involved. The Countertrade Agreement Architect will work closely with the Countertrade Compliance Consultant, Deal Designers, and Engagement Specialists to ensure that each agreement is strategically sound, legally binding, and aligns with the overall objectives of the countertrade initiatives.
- Draft, review, and finalize countertrade agreements, ensuring they meet the strategic and operational needs of Countertrade Pte Ltd and its partners.
- Collaborate with the Countertrade Compliance Consultant to ensure all agreements comply with international trade laws and regulations.
- Negotiate terms with potential partners, addressing any legal or operational concerns to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on the structure and execution of countertrade deals to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations and practices to ensure all agreements reflect current legal standards and best practices.
- Juris Doctor (JD), Bachelor of Laws (LLB), or equivalent legal qualification, with a strong preference for specialization in international trade law.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on international trade agreements or countertrade deals.
- Demonstrated expertise in international trade regulations and compliance.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with partners and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple agreements and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Monthly Salary: $9,000, translating to an annual salary of $108,000.
