Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Counter-Purchase Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Counter-Purchase Specialist, you will play a key role in facilitating countertrade transactions by coordinating the exchange of goods or services between our company and our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of counter-purchase mechanisms and the ability to negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Counter-Purchase Negotiations: Lead negotiations with clients for the exchange of goods or services in a counter-purchase arrangement.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify suitable goods or services for counter-purchase transactions.
- Documentation: Prepare and review documentation related to counter-purchase agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Assess and mitigate risks associated with counter-purchase transactions, including currency fluctuations and market volatility.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the counter-purchase process.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of counter-purchase transactions.
- Reporting: Generate reports on counter-purchase activities, analyzing performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in countertrade, with a focus on counter-purchase mechanisms.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting at $8,000, based on experience and expertise.
- Annual Salary: Starting from $96,000, with potential for performance-based bonuses. Comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, and generous vacation policies.
