Position Summary
Countertrade Pte Ltd is seeking a Bilateral Trade Protocols Manager to oversee and manage trade agreements and protocols between two countries. The manager will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and efficiency in cross-border trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Protocol Management: Develop, implement, and manage bilateral trade protocols and agreements between countries, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with government officials and trade representatives from both countries to establish favorable trade terms and resolve any disputes.
- Compliance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and assess compliance with bilateral trade protocols, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, legal teams, and international trade experts to navigate complex trade regulations and facilitate smooth transactions.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges in bilateral trade agreements and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all trade protocols and agreements, including amendments and updates.
- Policy Advocacy: Advocate for favorable trade policies and agreements that benefit Countertrade Pte Ltd and its clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing bilateral trade protocols and negotiations.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and policies.
- Excellent negotiation and diplomatic skills.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Competitive, starting at $15,000, based on experience and expertise.
- Annual Salary: Beginning from $180,000, with potential for performance-based bonuses. Comprehensive benefits package included.
